We are currently seeking a well experienced Web/Graphic Designer to join our team and be responsible for the overall website design, graphics, content creation, promotional campaign, events, display ads, infographics and other digital material. The Web/Graphic Designer will also be responsible for building and implementing a UI strategy across multiple products on desktop and mobile.

Experience &

Qualifications:

• Develop/Create/Illustrate original graphic designs for various media (e.g., images, sketches, clip arts, story boards, and other artwork).
• Experience with creating motion graphics in SVG
• Experience in graphic design for websites, both desktop and mobile.
• Ability to conceptualize and create images and sketches based upon requirements.
• Experience designing wireframes, prototypes and UI mockups clearly illustrating website function and appearance.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a portfolio of design projects.
• 2-3 years hands-on UI/UX design experience.
• Solid background in content creation, Journalism a plus.

Required

Skills:

• Proficient with CS6 Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Adobe, WordPress, Visio, Android, iOS, and other related software).
• Working experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Pre-video and post-video production skills.
• Ability to work independently and use good taste and judgement.
• Team spirit with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design graphics for website, social media, and document templates.
• Work cross-functionally on design for advertising, content marketing, product packaging, and experiential marketing efforts
• Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Follow internal design process and own design projects from sketch to final production
• Design graphic user interface elements:
  Menus, tabs and widgets for mobile and desktop
• Creation of overall content for website presence.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
• Design of UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team to create an intuitive, cohesive and seamless user experience across all products.
• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• QA of all advertising and media materials.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Web design, visual design, human-centered design (HCD), or similar fields of equivalent education and experience.

A portfolio with samples of work must be reviewed before an interview will be scheduled.
